The leather is then upholstered in its \"crust form\" on the furniture in North Carolina, After the furniture is made our leather artisans apply a multi step hand rubbed Patina using the same waxes and pigments used in Italy. Performing this process on the actual finished piece allows our artisans to develop a unique Patina, composition, and overall essence that creates a piece of furniture that has uniqueness, character and style that matches the individual who's selecting it. This leather imparts the feeling of a softer, well broken in leather one might find on a decades old chair discovered in a French country estate or the Parisian flea market.
